Help a child build a brighter future
This is Ganet, she wants to become a lawyer, a teacher or a nurse. She studied at Ganet’s Adventure School and recently passed her Primary School Leaving Certificate exams. This is a big achievement in Malawi, where only 58% of children complete a full course of primary school education*.
“Education is the single best investment in prosperous, healthy and equitable societies.”
– The UN Secretary General’s Global Initiative on Education
Malawi has the lowest GDP of any country in the world.* We want to enable future generations of Malawians to improve their own lives and help Malawi to support itself through improved education.
Ganet’s Adventure School is an award-winning primary school and pre-school in Malawi. Its learners’ exam results are consistently stronger than those of other local schools. This is achieved in many ways, including providing meals to learners, and keeping class sizes under 40, where class sizes in the rest of the district average 96 learners per teacher***.
Ganet’s Adventure School Fund is a registered UK based charity run 100% by volunteers, dedicated to supporting the School. This enables over 90% of donations to go direct to the school in Malawi.
