The Crop Goes Bananas

The school’s President Gertrude Banda is celebrating the wonderful crop of bananas and pawpaws. These trees have been able to flourish despite the lack of rain and the crops will supplement the breakfasts of the learners. The pawpaw is now in its third year showing the value of forward planning and investment in other crops than the more usual maize which does not thrive without timely rain.

A daily meal at school improves the learning of the children.
