Our Trustee Deidre Nelson, has assembled a lively and interesting group of speakers for an event on July 19th in Glasgow. A series of guest speakers will explore the theme of ‘bricks’ through architecture, craft and community engagement as a fundraiser for the #BricksChangeLives campaign and the Ganets Adventure School in Malawi. Celebration Day June 13th 2016 – IT’S A PASS But We Still Need Your Help

Ganet’s Adventure School has passed the strict inspection by the Ministry of Education inspectors. The inspectors have seen the new classroom block and the foundations for the final classroom block and they have said ‘yes’. The school is being awarded a licence to operate on the condition that the final classroom block is completed for September. We’re £2,500 closer to completing our crowdfunding for classrooms!

  We are very grateful to the  Toy Trust for making a generous grant of £2,500 towards the construction of our fourth classroom block.  The Toy Trust raises money predominantly from the toy industry, its suppliers and friends; and distribute the money raised to charities helping disadvantaged and disabled children within the UK and abroad. They have previously supported the school when in 2014 they made an award for the building of a teacher’s house. This means that we are over two …

DigitasLBi supports Ganet’s with a Twitter Campaign

Following from the successful fundraising event at DigitasLBi, Pierre Duquesnoy, creative director at digital marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has donated £10,000 of twitter ads to Ganet’s. Pierre won the ads in Twitter’s recent #PoweredByTweets competition. The £10,000 donation will be used to encourage the UK public to donate to Ganet’s over the Christmas period.
